Re: Microstepping and steppers in serie skipping (tmc2100)
In the top right red circle you find two pads. One is for the enable pin and the other is to set CFG1 to GND. In your current config the pin is open. [github.com]

Hi Wurstnase , thank you for the info. My TMC2100 MKS seem to have two points joined in the bottom left corner, where as the same on your photo is open. It seems it is just "En/CFG6" though, so CFG1...

Thank you for your helping. I changed the pin and current values and sound decreases, but "viyuv viyuv" sounds continue to come.

Yes. Motor voltage is just coil current / coil resistance. The motor's torque comes from the current in the coils. Steppers are very commonly operated at 10-20X their rated voltage. When you shop for...

On my picture it is not open. There is a 0 Ohm resistor in it. You need to close the bridge and the wire!

they are using 0.9 degree steppers not 1.8 degree, this all values are approximately double " I use Stepper Motor - 68 oz.in (400 steps/rev)."

I have bridged CFG1 and GNG, as well as removed the configuration pins going to the motherboard. It is now in theory in speadcycle mode, I can confirm the microstepping on the print surface, and it is...

Sorry to make you confused.MKS SBASE is compatible with Smoothieware that supports 1/16 and 1/32 .But MKS BASE is MEGA2560,use 4982stepper drivers which only supports 1/16.

I think the problem may be that the MKS SBASE uses DRV8825 drivers, which are known to be noisy with low-inductance motors when configured in fast decay mode, especially when using higher supply...

Tb6600 needs afaik 5us high signal. So be careful that your firmware can handle this and has some config which will slow down your controller to achieve it.

What microstepping do your external drivers support? You may find Arduino/RAMPS too slow to drive them at high microstepping, meaning you will have to either reduce microstepping and accept increased...
