Re: Driver setup
Thanks Olaf, It's very clear, but just to be sure; The change in resistance just makes the tuning different, but I dont have to change the setup-files? And actually I meant 0.02, but that doesn't mean...

Thanks for the reply Did the test but does not work unfortunately has the same anomaly, the printer moves in a circular extruder but pauses when he makes an arc, then he resumes to extrude the thread...

I've been working on a project which will use stepper motors to power a calibration device. The device will move a microphone under different angles. Some sound will be sent, and the results from the...

The steppers will always hum when the drivers are active. So a brake on the axis and disabling the stepper drivers is mandatory. A worm gear can also act as a break, when the gear ratio is high...

Thanks for replying. I'm using a linear encoder Link. These encoders working conjunction with this controller Link. This is a digital encoder. It can be controlled via either RS232 or RS485. The end...

I think its in the nature of a worm drive to be 90° angled. I can't recommend a brake, since I don't know the weight of your setup. Anyway it should be spring loaded with a solenoid actuator. A...

I think your problem is poor power to the servo, or a bad conection to the servo ground wire. How are you powering it: what exactly is the step-down you mentioned?

View ArticleRe: Nema 23 cant go fast HELP ME!
You can't get a stepper to go that fast, even with no load. You'll need a different type of motor. You can do full steps with that driver, but at 2000 rpm you need 400k steps per second. I don't think...
