hey!

I just started building mine too and electronics are the same as yours. I also ran into the same problem. Here's what I found over the past couple days:

1. The stepper motor wiring in your image is incorrect. You went to the guy's blog right? If you go on youtube or the forums, you can learn how to check which stepper motor pairs to use. For me, black was correct, blue is on the opposite side of black, green and red are in the middle. Green is next to the black wire and red is next to the blue wire.

2. Like Waitaki says, you need jumpers! My kit didn't come with jumpers, so I had to go out and buy some. The Megatronics V2 requires 3 jumpers to be populated for each A4988 driver. Those 3 are closest to the cap underneath each A4988.

I'm using the Repetier FW and last night (about 2AM), I finally got my motors working right.

Also, I'd invest in some small heat sinks for each of the chips on the A4988. I made a small duct and used the included cooling fan to cool those A4988s during development. Those suckers get hot! They're probably rated for high temperature but we probably want to rum them as cool as possible for reliability reasons.

Anyway, good luck and hope this helps. We should keep in touch in case either of us run into issues. As you've probably found already, the documentation just plain sucks for these kits. Maybe after our build we can put together a cheat sheet for future users of this kit.
