I understand the current / torque relation, as well as PWM basics. What concerned me here (after second reading of the datasheet) is that both PWM frequency and blanking time (minimum ON time) are fixed in case of DRV8825 (30kHz and 3.75us, respectively).
I was wondering about the lower limit of the stepper coil inductance/resistance, but just made some simple math (R-L circuit current versus time) and (unless I screwed something up) it should be fine :) Anyway, 2 DRV8825 boards are on the way already - time to switch fro theory to practice :)
